Taye Diggs & Meagan Good To Lead & EP Lifetime’s ‘Terry McMillan Presents: Forever’

EXCLUSIVE: Taye Diggs (All American, The Best Man) and Meagan Good (Divorce in the Black, Harlem) are set to star and executive produce Lifetime‘s newly acquired movie Terry McMillan Presents: Forever premiering Saturday, August 24 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Charles Murray (Outer Range, Luke Cage) directs and EPs.

From writer Bart Baker, Terry McMillan Presents: Forever follows Johnnie (Diggs) returns home after a tour of military service, he’s unexpectedly met with divorce papers. With his life at a crossroads, the last thing he expected was to fall for the local policewoman Carlie (Good), who pulled him over for speeding. Determined to win her heart, his first hurdle is winning over her three daughters. To be the man Carlie needs him to be, Johnnie must let go of old fears and regrets to find love and learn the true meaning of family.

The Ninth House produces the movie in association with GroupM Motion Entertainment. Taye Diggs, Meagan Good and Terry McMillan executive produce alongside director Charles Murray and Richard Foster and Chet Fenster for GroupM Motion Entertainment. Emmy-winning producer Shelby Stone, Autumn Federici and Jake Helgren serve as producers for The Ninth House.

Terry McMillan Presents: Forever marks the second film under the previously announced umbrella, including Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted By Love starring and executive produced by Garcelle Beauvais, premiering a week prior on August 17.

Diggs is repped by Global Artist Agency and A Management Co. Good is repped by Atlas Artists, Gersh Agency and Yorn, Levine, Barnes and Krintzman.
