ESPN Apologizes For Airing Video Of Woman Flashing Breast During Sugar Bowl Telecast

Oops. ESPN has apologized for airing a brief video clip of a woman flashing her breast during its broadcast of the Sugar Bowl Monday in New Orleans.

The clip was shown following a commercial during the second half of Washington’s 37-31 victory over Texas in a semifinal game of the College Football Playoff. A group of people were walking on Bourbon Street when one of the women pulled down her top and exposed her breast.

“We regret that this happened and apologize that the video aired in the telecast,” ESPN’s Bill Hofheimer said in a statement to The Associated Press.

The Washington vs Texas faceoff was the final semifinal game of the four-team College Football Playoff. Washington will play Michigan in the CFP National Championship game on Jan. 8 in Houston.
